My School...Mariana Pinto

My school

   My school is Maria Alberta Menéres. It is located in Tapada das Mercês-Mem-Martins not far from Sintra. There are about eight hundred pupils, aged between ten and seventeen.

   It is a modern school. There are four buildings. There is a building with two floors, two containers and a gym pavilion in another building. We play outside in the playground.

   In the main building, on the ground floor, there are classrooms, the music room, four Art rooms, the teacher`s room, the head teacher`s office, the staffroom, the canteen and the school shop.

   On the first floor, there are lots of classrooms, the library and a computer room. There are two toilets for girls and two for boys on the ground floor.

   There are some trees and bushes.

   I like my school but I don`t like the trash on the floor and noisy schoolmates.
